Mimi Tatlow-Golden

Lecturer in Developmental Psychology and Childhood, The Open University

My expertise lies in interdisciplinary explorations of childhoods and child development (from preschool to the transition to adulthood). I examine children and food, including food marketing, digital media, experiences of school, self-concept/self-esteem, and mental health. My background in the humanities (BA Hons, Trinity College Dublin, German and History) and psychology (H Dip Psych, University College Dublin; PhD, developmental social psychology, University College Dublin) as well as 10 years as a food writer and broadcaster in Ireland informs my work.
