Mirjam Brusius

My research looks at the intersection of history of science and the history of art. More specifically, I'm interested in the history of photography, museums and collecting in and between Europe and the Middle East.

I hold degrees in History of Art (MA, Berlin) and History and Philosophy of Science (PhD, Cambridge). Before coming to the University of Oxford as a research fellow, I held postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University, the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, and the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz.
