My main areas of research are Comparative Literature, Central European literatures, cultures and film, travel writing, text/image Studies, and migration studies in humanities research.
I am currently a co-director of Migrations and Displacement Across Arts and Humanities Lab at the University of Glasgow https://www.gla.ac.uk/researchinstitutes/artslab/labsandthemes/ourlabs/migrations/#futureevents,pastevents, and a Principal Investigator of the project How to Talk About Migrations: Current Academic Research in Migration Studies and its Relevance for School Curriculum in Scotland and Further Afield (funded by Royal Society of Edinburgh Research Workshops Grant).
