Mitzy Gafos

Dr Mitzy Gafos is an Associate Professor in the department of Global Health and Development at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). She is a mixed methods social scientist who has worked for the last 20 years in biomedical and structural HIV prevention interventions, mainly in Eastern and Southern Africa. Currently she is leading the Sustainable Development Goals Health and Wellbeing consortium designing interventions to tackle SDG 3 health and wellbeing priorities across nine countries working with a multidisciplinary multinational team.
