Mobolaji Alabi

Mobolaji is a PhD Finance Candidate at the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, who joined in September 2019. Mobolaji’s Research is on the financial landscape of European football with a focus on the impact of regulations (FFP) and Covid-19 on the financial performance of football clubs.

Prior to joining the ICMA Centre, Mobolaji, An ACCA qualified accountant, was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the financial service practice. He obtained an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton with a research thesis on the effects of UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulation on the Financial Performance of English Football Clubs.

He has independent financial consulting experience in the FinTech, commodity and, Public-Private-Partnership sectors where he has added value with his financial modeling and investment appraisal skills.
