Senior Lecturer in Criminology, Birmingham City University

Dr Mohammed Rahman is a Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City University. As a criminologist, his work primarily concerns serious and organised crime. He has used his teaching and research experiences to inform the public and international press about crime, harm and crime control.

Dr Rahman is the author of Homicide and Organised Crime: Ethnographic Narratives of Violence in the Criminal Underworld (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019) and co-author of Preventing Sexual Harm: Positive Criminology and Sexual Abuse (Routledge 2020).
