Monica Dus is a molecular biologist and neuroscientist expert in the genetics and epigenetics of nutrition. She leads a research lab studying the effects of high sugar diets and nutrients on the brain, with a focus on how nutrients change your genes and create food memories. Dus teaches genetics and epigenetics to hundreds of University of Michigan students every year and empowers the public's understanding of science via speaking engagements, museum workshops, and the How to Science and Neuroepic podcasts.
