Muhammad Naveed Arshad

Postdoctoral Modeller, Aberystwyth University

Environment scientist originally from Pakistan and working in Aberystwyth University, UK on Agricultural Productivity Potential of Wales. He has achieved PhD degree in Agronomy from UAF, Pakistan with specialisation in spatial modeling from UCDAVIS, USA. Dr. Naveed has working experience with various International organizations and being National Consultant with Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations, He has developed Agro-Ecological Zones of Pakistan. He is very passionate about research on environmental issues, sustainability and socio-ecological resilience.

Dr. Naveed has expertise in spatial modeling, precision agriculture, climate change impact assessment. He is working closely with young scientists from Thailand, China, Pakistan, India, United Kingdom and United States of America for multidisciplinary research of climate change impacts on agriculture, wildlife and livelihood. He is active team member of various NGOs to run nature conservation and climate awareness campaigns.
