Canada Research Chair and Assistant Professor, Mining, University of British Columbia

Canada Research Chair (NSERC, Tier 2) in Mine Water Management and Stewardship at The University of British Columbia, where she is also an Assistant Professor within the School of Public Policy & Global Affairs and the Norman B Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering. The overarching goal of Dr Kunz's interdisciplinary research program is to quantify and mitigate the risks associated with the mining sector’s use of water from the perspective of diverse actors. She is also interested in broader questions relating to sustainability and sustainable development of the global mining sector.
