Associate Professor, Department of Kinesiology, Brock University

Dr. Nathan Hall is an Associate Professor at Brock University and a former physical education teacher. He teaches courses in the areas of physical education, activity, physical literacy, and health education. He was a recipient of the AIESEP 2016 Young Scholar Award which highlighted his research in the area of alternative environment physical education. His other research interests focus on the use of mental imagery by physical educators and development of physical literacy in children. He is presently a board member on the Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE Canada) Research Council.

Dr. Hall has co-authored multiple book chapters related to physical education and published his research in many highly acclaimed academic journals. He has shared his research locally, nationally, and internationally at academic conferences. He has also delivered over 100 professional development workshops related to physical education and/or physical literacy.
