Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Colorado State University

I am a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University and have been department head and director of the state water institute. I started my career as a graduate of the US Military Academy and later went into consulting engineering, government work and the university. I focus now on water resources, infrastructure and utilities with emphasis on systems management to improve governance and performance. I've written a number of boosk and the most recent one is Integrated Water Resources Management (Macmillan, October 2016 release); I also wrote Infrastructure Finance: The Business of Infrastructure for a Sustainable Future; and the Water Business: From the Global Environment to Your Tap (Wiley).
