Dr Nick Ruktanonchai is a Lecturer in Infectious Disease Modeling within Geography at the University of Southampton.
He joined the University of Southampton in 2014 and works within the WorldPop Project. Before joining the University of Southampton, Nick completed a PhD at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, USA.
Nick is interested in the complexities of human mobility and how it influences infectious disease spread. His ongoing projects involve studying the spread and control of malaria, polio, and COVID-19, among others.
