Dr Nicola Hanrahan is a terrestrial ecologist at the Department of Environment, Parks and Water Security, Northern Territory Government and a visiting fellow at Charles Darwin University. Nicola is also on the executive committee for the Australasian Bat Society in her role as Newsletter Editor, and is the Bat1K regional chair for Australia. Nicola's research interests include acoustic social communication, particularly in bats, and the conservation of threatened species.
