My current research fields are biogeography, macroecology and global changes, with a focus on the effect of climate and land use change on biodiversity. Beyond theoretical interests in understanding large scale ecological processes and their underlying mechanisms, I give special attention to species conservation. My current models are bats, common songbirds, amphibians and reptiles. I am mainly working on occidental Europe systems, but I have a strong interest in Madagascar and any tropical biota.
