Nida is a Lecturer in Public Health based in the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education. She is working on the 'Ethnic differences in kidney size in children, the role of kidney size: the Born in Bradford Cohort Renal Study', the SLOPE study and the Wessex DIET project.

Nida graduated with a BSc degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Chemistry and Zoology from Bangalore University in 2007 followed by a MSc degree in Clinical Nutrition from Roehampton University in 2008 and obtained her PhD in 2020.

Following her masters, Nida worked at the Medical Research Council Human Nutrition Research Unit in Cambridge in several different roles in the dietary assessment and data operations team. During this time Nida has worked on several large surveys and studies. Data Analyst Scientist, Nida has primarily worked on the National Diet and Nutrition Survey data to prepare reports, carry out secondary analysis and writing reports and papers.
