Nimrod Zalk

Nimrod Zalk is Chief Research Officer: Climate and Development at the University of Cape Town's Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance. Prior to this he was Deputy Director-General of the Sectors branch of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC) and served as a non-executive director on the Board of the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) of South Africa. He holds an MSC in Economics (with reference to Africa) and a Phd in Economics from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
