Senior Lecturer in Criminology, Anglia Ruskin University

Olivia Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at Anglia Ruskin University, having received her PhD from the University of Bath in 2014. Olivia’s research and teaching focuses on criminal justice responses to violence against women, and she is the co-convenor of the British Sociological Association’s Violence Against Women Study Group. Olivia has also been involved in front-line responses to vulnerable women and worked with police and crime commissioners in developing policy initiatives to improve court responses to rape.
