Patricia L. Farnese is a lawyer and Law Professor at the University of Saskatchewan. In addition to her undergraduate degrees, Patricia holds a Masters of Laws degree in Agricultural Law. Her published research critiques both the design and implementation agri-environmental policies, including policies intended to promote the wise-use of wetlands and the control of infectious diseased. Her ability to offer accurate, practical, and balanced legal advice has resulted in many requests to consult with provincial and federal governments, agricultural commodity groups, and NGOs on the design, implementation, and individual liability arising from Canadian agri-environmental policies. Patricia is also a member of the Canada Agricultural Review Tribunal where she adjudicates non-criminal offences related to food and agriculture.
