My research examines contemporary and emerging challenges to the employment and health of North American workers. As a coinvestigator on the Canadian Work, Stress and Health Study—a national panel survey of Canadian labour force participants funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research—my current research examines how regional economic and job conditions combine to influence Canadians’ transitions from wagework into self-employment.
