Pedro is a vertebrate palaeontologist interested in the evolution of reptiles in deep time. His research interests include macroevolution and systematics of archosaurs and other reptiles. Particularly, his work has focused on the evolution of Crocodylomorpha, the >200-million-year old group that includes living crocodylians (crocodiles, alligators, caimans and gharials) and all their extinct relatives.
