Philile Mbatha

Philile is a Lecturer in the Environmental and Geographical Science Department at the University of Cape Town. Her research focuses on coastal resource governance and rural livelihoods, with a specific focus on fisheries, conservation, mining and tourism sectors along the coast within the Western Indian Ocean region of Southern Africa.
