Pierre-Guillaume Méon

Pierre-Guillaume Méon is Professor of Economics at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He specializes in political economics. As such, he is interested in phenomena that lie at the border between economics and politics. He has for instance worked on the political economy of monetary policy and monetary integration in Europe and on the institutional and cultural dimensions of economic development. More recently, he has been interested in the consequences of democratic transitions and the effect of Donald Trump's election on racism in Europe.
