Rafael Schacter

Rafael is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow 2014-2017, and winner of the 2014 Los Angeles Book Festival in the Photography/Art Category for his book, The World Atlas of Street Art and Graffiti. His second book, Ornament and Order, a monograph based on his PhD research, was published in September 2014.

Acting as the Creative Director of arts production company Approved by Pablo, he is curating and producing a two-year series of events at Somerset House, London. He has worked on numerous other exhibitions, including co-curating the iconic "Street Art" show at the Tate Modern in 2008.
