My doctoral project tracks George Sand's response to faith in predictive scientific models in human affairs. Other thinkers I know well are Hannah Arendt, Sigmund Freud, Lou Andreas-Salomé, and Henri Bergson. Research interests include the history of psychoanalysis, queer theory, the history and philosophy of science, political theory, and the Arab world. My recent books include DIY Creative Activism (2019), Psychoanalysis of a Teenage Novelist (2020), and Torontino (2022).
