Rebecca Spencer

Becky Spencer is an Instructor in Health Promotion and an Interdisciplinary PhD candidate at Dalhousie University. Her research interests involve health promotion, youth and gender, examining health comprehensively, and using ecological approaches. She is passionate about participatory and alternative research methods. Becky's doctoral research is exploring how adolescent girls' perceptions of health and construction of bodies take up and contend with social and political relations, using photovoice.
