Rebekah L. Rollston, MD, MPH, is Affiliate Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Primary Care Blog, Co-Founder of Doctors For A Healthy US (@OurHealthyUS), Family Medicine Physician at Cambridge Health Alliance, and Clinical Associate at Tufts University School of Medicine. She earned her Medical Degree from East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine and her Master of Public Health from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. Her professional interests focus on social influencers of health & health disparities, gender-based violence, sexual & reproductive health, self-esteem development, addiction medicine, rural health, homelessness & supportive housing, and immigrant health.
Dr. Rollston is a frequent contributor to the American Public Health Association Medical Care Blog, and she has also written for Our Bodies Ourselves, SIECUS: Sex Ed For Social Change, Healthy Teen Network, and the Fenway Institute. Dr. Rollston has served as the sexual & reproductive health expert for stories published by National Public Radio and Mashable.
She is an active member of the Harvard Joint Committee on the Status of Women, Massachusetts Medical Society Committee on Public Health, and Affiliate of the RTI Global Gender Center. Dr. Rollston has been inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health and Gold Humanism Honor Society, and she was also selected for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education in 2019.
