Redab Aljanaideh

PhD student, Developmental Psychology and Education, University of Toronto

Redab is currently a project lead at the Social-Emotional Development and Intervention lab at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on the language, literacy and well-being of Syrian refugee children, as well as explore the effects of cognitive, social-emotional factors and interrupted education on refugee children’s wellbeing and literacy performance. For the past six years, she has been closely involved with the Syrian refugee families and children in Toronto since their resettlement through H.appi camp, and OISE psychology clinic. Recently, she is involved in community services that aim to support Syrian refugees to better integrate into the Canadian community through The Wroxeter Avenue Refugee Project and Access Alliance.
