Robert J. Currie

Professor of Canadian & Transnational Criminal Law, Dalhousie University

Rob Currie is a tenured full professor of law at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, where he teaches Canadian and International Criminal Law, International Law, Evidence, Procedure and Advocacy. Prof. Currie is a specialist in international and transnational criminal law, and his scholarly writing in these fields is regularly cited by Canadian courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He is a regular media commentator on legal issues, both in Canada and internationally, and a frequent contributor to judicial education and continuing legal education for practising lawyers. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Bar and has practiced law in various capacities.
