Research Associate in Public Policy, University of Glasgow

I am a Research Associate with the International Public Policy Observatory (IPPO) at the University of Glasgow, with particular interests in the governance of urban design and spatial planning. I have previously been a Research Associate at the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research (CCHPR), and Research Assistant on ESRC-funded project 'REPAIR' (Real Estate, Place Adaptation and Innovation within an integrated Retailing system), which considered the adaptation of city centres in response to changing retail patterns. I completed a collaborative PhD at the University of Glasgow (with West Dunbartonshire Council) on the local implementation of national urban design policy, and have also taught public policy, city planning, and urban design.
