I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tasmania having recently obtained my Ph.D. specializing in Plant Physiology from the University of Cape Town. My primary research interests include understanding variation in drought tolerance within plant communities and predicting the vulnerability of communities to potential climate change. I am passionate about the scientific methodology and communicating science to a general audience. My general interests include the philosophy of science, exploring the natural world and evolutionary theory. I aim to get involved in academic research and teaching in the future.
