Rocío Rodríguez Rey

Rocío Rodríguez Rey (PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology) is a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid, Spain). Her main field of research is the impact of health-related critical events on individuals’ resilience and mental health. She has published more than 30 scientific articles and made more than 70 contributions to national and international scientific conferences. She received the Extraordinary PhD Award for her doctoral thesis, the 2019 Australian Critical Care Excellence in Research Award in recognition of the contribution made to the improvement of outcomes for critically ill patients and their families and the Young Researcher 2016 Ediciones Pirámide award in recognition of the quality of her studies. She is currently participating in several national and international research projects and leading a project aimed at exploring the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Spanish general population and in high-vulnerable populations such as frontline workers.
