Romeo Joe Quintero

Romeo Joe Quintero is a PhD Candidate in Human Geography at York University. He is a research associate at the Centre for Refugee Studies (CRS) and York Centre for Asian Research (YCAR). He is also a research fellow at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research. Romeo holds an MA in Women's and Gender Studies at Carleton University and a BSocSci Hons in International Development and Globalization at the University of Ottawa. His research explores the placemaking practices of forcibly displaced individuals induced by armed conflicts, natural disasters, and aggressive development projects.
