Rosalie Atie is a PhD candidate and has been a research assistant with the Challenging Racism Project (CRP) at Western Sydney University since 2011. Rosalie has collaborated on research projects relating to Islamophobia, cyber racism, racial discrimination in the housing market, racial discrimination in primary and secondary schools, and bystander anti-racism. As part of the CRP team, Rosalie has helped to develop anti-racism campaigns that have been used for anti-racism training in schools, as well as government and community organisations. Rosalie’s PhD research investigated racialisation and belonging in Greater Sydney’s community and place-based performance poetry scenes.
