My PhD research comprised three contributions on the impact of consumer heterogeneity on government interventions. The first included hedonic regressions on telecommunications prices and the impact of lower mobile termination rate interventions, the second compared the impact of competition vs regulation on customer segments and the third considered how broadband might be expanded in developing countries like South Africa.
