S.M. Rodriguez

Dr. S.M. Rodriguez is Assistant Professor of Gender, Rights and Human Rights at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Their book, The Economies of Queer Inclusion: Transnational Organizing for LGBTI Rights in Uganda, examines anti-gay legislative violence and the effects of transnational financing on grassroots sexuality activism in Kampala, Uganda. Their other research interests and publications address penal abolition and transformative justice community organizing.
