Sana works with Oxford’s Translational Neuroimaging Group. Her research focuses on the genetic variations that account for a predisposition to the development of Alzheimer’s disease. Using magnetic resonance imaging, she is studying individuals that are genetically at ‘high-risk’, ‘average-risk’ and ‘low-risk’ for developing AD, to detect any potential changes in brain function that are reflective of their susceptibility to future cognitive decline.
