Sandra Lynch (BA. University of Illinois; MA.Hons. Macquarie University; Ph.D, University of NSW) lectures in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame Australia and is Director of the University’s Centre for Faith, Ethics and Society. She has a background as a school teacher and her research interests lie in the areas of ethics and values education, the constitution of the self, friendship, critical thinking, and the intersection of philosophy and literature. Currently she is researching in the area of ethics within the professions, including law and nursing.
