I am a linguistic anthropologist who focuses on the complex interconnections between language, politics, culture, and identities. My primary area of research is in Indigenous language revitalization, multilingualism, and language policy, but I also teach and research about other aspects of how language use, commentary about language, and language management in relation to contemporary political issues.
