Dr Pedersen is the Director of the Active Work Laboratory at the University of Tasmania. His research interests include utilising technology to reduce sedentary behaviour. Currently the lab is researching the Exertime e-health solution and how timed prompts can help desk-based employees re-introduce movement back into the workplace.
