Shandell Cummings

Shandell Cummings is a Merningar woman who has learned family stories and traditional knowledge from her Merningar mother, Lynette Knapp. She holds a degree in Anthropology and Indigenous Studies. Throughout her adult life, Shandell has been proactive at sharing her Noongar knowledge with a wide audience to increase understanding between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in a range of paid and voluntary roles. She works as an artist, art administrator and educator across a variety of roles.
