Shane Nanayakkara is a cardiologist at the Alfred Hospital, and Research Fellow at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute. He gained his PhD in heart failure from Monash University. His interests are based in the underlying mechanisms behind heart disease and the application of technology, particularly artificial intelligence, to improving healthcare.
