I am an anthropological archaeologist who mostly works in Mesoamerica, exploring questions about foodways, human-environmental relationships, and gastronomic heritage. I specialize in the analysis of ancient plant residues, including materials found in fields and trash heaps and microscopic tissues deposited on artifacts and human teeth.
