Shawnee Gorringe

Shawnee is a Mithaka Traditional owner from far south-western Queensland. She is employed by Mithaka Aboriginal Corporations in an administrative and research support role. Shawnee is currently studying Archaeology at James Cook University in Townsville and working parallel to the field. She is also a curator of the 'Kirrenderi: Hearth of the Channel Country' exhibition at Anthropology Museum in Brisbane.
