Shoshanah Inwood is an Associate Professor in the School of Environment and Natural Resources at The Ohio State University. A rural sociologist, Dr. Inwood’s integrated research and Extension program focuses on social factors affecting farm viability, health and well-being in the food and agriculture sector, and community and economic development through food and agriculture. She leads the national USDA funded project Health Insurance Rural Economic Development and Agriculture, which examines how health insurance affects economic development and quality of life of farmers and ranchers.
