Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health, UMass Chan Medical School

Stacy Potts is a family medicine physician at UMassMemorial Health, a professor in the UMass Chan Department of Family Medicine and Community Health and the Vice Chair of Education overseeing Undergraduate Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education, and Faculty Development. Her interests include full spectrum family medicine with maternity care, practicing at the Barre Family Health Center, in rural Massachusetts. She has been caring for multi-generation families in this community for over twenty years.

She graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine prior to completing the UMass Worcester Family Medicine Residency Program and then continued at UMass for a Faculty Development Fellowship. Her passion for the science of education grew and she went on to complete a Masters of Medical Education from the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Potts has been a national leader in Family Medicine Education presenting nationally on the future of family medicine residency training, leadership development, and physician wellness.
