During my PhD in Conservation Biology (2018 - 2021) at the University of Montpellier, I worked on understanding the effect of human activities on biodiversity at a community scale. In particular, using citizen science data and large scale data on human footprint, I studied the fate of bird communities in France and Europe facing increasing anthropogenic perturbations.
A first part of my work was and still is, in my current postdoctoral position at INRAE, to deepen the analyse of anthropogenic impacts on bird population dynamics to participate in understanding the general biodiversity decay.
A second important area in my research is related to the socio-political and economic determinants of the destruction of biodiverity.
