Stefan Vogler is a sociologist and Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow in Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine. His research examines the interrelationships between gender and sexuality, law and crime, and science and technology, with particular attention to the legal regulation of gender and sexuality. His work has been featured in such academic outlets as Law & Society Review, Theoretical Criminology, and the Journal of Homosexuality. He received a PhD in sociology from Northwestern University.
