Lecturer in Film and Media, Bangor University

I am a lecturer in Film and Media at the School of Creative Studies and Media at Bangor University. I teach modules on Creative Practice, Research Methods, The Creative Industries and Digital Communication, The Moving Image and The Film Industry. I have recently completed a PhD in Business Management researching the digital distribution of digital products, specifically the marketing, copyright and revenue potential for digital music.

My current research areas are in, consumer physiology, digital distribution, business modelling, intellectual property and copyright law and the perceived value of digital products.

I am also interested in SME engagement and regional regeneration. Previously I worked as a researcher with LEAD Cymru equipping SME Company Owner-Managers with leadership skills. The program up-skills Owner-Managers with the knowledge to increase profits, capitalise on new opportunities and make the most of their staff. The research assessed the impact of the intervention within the companies looking at growth and development within their business sectors.
