Stephanie Dellande

Dr. Stephanie Dellande is Professor Emerita of Marketing at Menlo College, Silicon Valley. Her primary research focus is on compliance dependent services (CDS). Creation of most services, (uber transportation), requires customers to participate directly in the production process. However, in CDS, effort made by consumers during the face-to-face visit must continue once they leave the service provider, e.g., following a financial plan, physical therapy recommendations, weight loss protocol.

She does research with practical application, e.g., her work on debt management and culture (a look at debt and access to credit amongst Blacks, Hispanics, and whites); the factors that influence weight loss; higher education as a luxury product.
