My research interests centre on using noble gases to trace geological processes at a range of scales. My current project uses noble gases and stable isotopes to trace the formation and migration of native hydrogen (H2) bearing natural gases within an intractratonic basin in Brazil.

Other previous and ongoing work includes carbon-dioxide capture and geological storage (CCS) risk assessment and monitoring, using noble gases to investigate volatile exchange between melt and atmosphere during silicic volcanic eruptions, 40Ar/ 39Ar Ar geochronology, and feldspar mineralogy.
